Please help us support Louis D. Brown Peace Institute, an integral partner to Brigham and Women's Hospital, by making a contribution to our team and sharing this page with your family and friends.
This year, we will team up with other hospitals to raise funds to distribute sand tray therapy toolkits to the community as part of the Peace Play in Urban Setting's program. Sand tray therapy invites participants to create a concrete world to the feelings and emotions they may not have language for by creating scenes using miniature figures in a tray of sand. Due to the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on mental health and violence, disseminating sand tray therapy toolkits for community members to utilize is more important than ever.
Your investment allows LDBPI to continue to meet the needs of survivor families and communities that are consistent and compassionate to prevent cycles of retaliatory violence; support advocacy for policy that promotes dignity and compassion for all families impacted by murder; and continue to provide personalized training and education for response teams, professionals and students.
Together, we can make a difference and build together for Generation Peace!
