Our friend and hero, Chaplain Clementina Chery, lost her son, Louis D. Brown, to violence. She turned her pain, anger, and despair into action and power by creating the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute to support and heal the trauma of those who survived the homicide of a loved one or a loved one who may be incarcerated for homicide.

The27th Annual Mother's Day Walk for Peace is a celebration of the survivors and our potential to create peaceful communities. The theme for this year is Cultivating Cycles of Peace, Weinvite you to join Team Hearts and Soles’ and make a gift of any amount to help us reach our $3000 goal to sustain and grow the remarkable work of the Peace Institute.
