Dennis "Scooby" Parham was a man of many words, he was funny, adventurous fearless, and had a big heart. He was a man with strong values, principles and beliefs. He will always be remembered for his infectious smile, his sense of humor and the way that he loved and cared for family and friends, especially his children Davon, Trevon, and Lovely who were the light of his life. Scooby was a protector for those he loved, and knew no limits when it came to being there for his loved ones. He was a sports enthusiast, an avid football player throughout his high school years. Our lives were changed unexpectedly on July 15, 2017 when his life was cut short. His spirit will always be with us as his memory, putting a smile on your face and a warm vibe in your heart. His legacy will be remembered through Children Healing by Expression, The Dennis Parham Project, as Team Scooby walks for Peace on Mother's Day.
This Mother's Day, we are walking in his honor, to preserve his legacy, and to continue to spread the love that Scooby had for others. By walking for peace, we are walking to keep his spirit alive and to give back to our community in his name. We stand strong together, as a family, inseparable by tragedy, to celebrate his life, and remember him for the loving and loyal person that he was. We honor and thank the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute for their steadfast support, comfort, and love in our time of loss and heartbreak.
We ask for your help in reaching our team goal of $1,500 and joining us on May 12, 2024 as we celebrate 25 years of walking for peace.
