My name is Emily and I am the Healing Support Services Coordinator at the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute. I am a current MSW student at Simmons University.

In my role, I have seen firsthand the impact of violence, murder and loss on children and families. I have also witnessed the strength, resilience, and love that families carry as they navigate grief in systems that, too often, fail to protect them as they advocate for justice.

In times of uncertainty, fear and mounting violence, it is more important than ever to stand together. This Walk for Peace, join me in love and unity to honor mothers, families, and the power of community.
