“When you have loved deeply that love can grow even stronger after the death of the person you love.” ― Henri Nouwen
Please join our family by supporting the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute (LDBPI) through the 26th Mother's Day Walk for Peace. We will be walking on that day - Sunday, May 8, 2022 - and hope that you can join our team, starting at Town Field Park in Dorchester, MA at 8:00 AM. We also hope you will invite others to participate, either by walking on that day and/or contributing to our Team Drew Keegan fundraising efforts! mothersdaywalk4peace.org/Account/Register
This team page is dedicated to our beloved son, Andrew “Drew” Keegan—also brother, grandson, nephew, godson, cousin, colleague, and treasured friend. We all miss and love him immensely. Our deep grief since Drew was tragically murdered in August 2020 continues. Amidst this anguish and sorrow we focus on love and light. We know that love continues and abides as we carry Drew in our hearts and experience his invisible presence, especially in/through nature. We are committed to navigating our grief journey with love and compassion. ---- 💗 Love never ends… - 1 Corinthians 13:8 💗
Our family has participated in the LDBPI Mother's Day Walk for Peace numerous times before 2020. Never did we imagine that the vitally important work of the LDB Peace Institute would hit home with such anguish and sorrow.
We hope that you will consider supporting the vital work of the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute for the (way too) many families and friends impacted by homicide.
Please donate towards our goal of $7,500 on this page.
With gratitude and love,
Deborah Donahue-Keegan (Drew's Mama) - on behalf of Drew's loving family and friends
p.s. Please share this page with your family and friends! Every dollar we raise will advance Louis D. Brown Peace Institute's vitally important work!
