This Mother's Day, the family and friends of Jasmine "Snow" Burrell are coming together once again. We walk to support each other and to honor Jasmine's memory.
This year is extra special for me. I am about to graduate with my master's in social work. This journey has taught me what it truly means to be an overcomer. It has given me the tools to help others heal, no matter their background. We are all connected in this walk toward peace.
Losing my daughter to gun violence changed my life. But my faith in God has never been stronger. Through my studies and the support of the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute, I have learned how to turn my grief into a way to help others. My faith gives me the strength to keep going, reminding me that Jasmine's spirit is still with me, guiding my work every day.
I need your help to reach my goal. Please consider donating to my walk page or sharing this with your friends. Every dollar helps the Peace Institute continue its work as a place of healing and learning for our community.
❄️❄️ Together, we can make a difference! We will walk in peace, love, harmony, and the support of all the fallen angels. ❄️❄️
