Thanks to my wonderful CDT Community, my family and I have walked every Mother's Day in support of the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute since 2010 or 2011 (can't recall!) I am proud to call LDBPI;s remarkable founder, Clementina Chery, a friend and inspiration. Her strength in the face of tragedy has grown into an indispensable resource for healing and education. LDPBI has improved the lives and support of the loved ones of victims of fatal violence. It educates and trains police, EMS, hospital teams, and neighbors and friend. It has engaged all kinds of people communities to come to gether to celebrate life and work for peace. Simply put, it has made an indelible impact on the Boston community and in many other communities around the world.
